The works Massage (2013) and Scratch Me a Bit (2022) by Una Margrét Árnadóttir are on view in Loop from 26. 02. – 26. 04. Both works are newly aquiered to the museum’s collection.
Una Margrét Árnadóttir (1985) is a Reykjavík based artist. She first encountered video as a medium at a course at age 10 and says it opened up a lot for her. Una doesn’t identify as a video artist, although she’s often drawn to the medium. For her, the video is a platform for the performative in her practice, which has followed her through her career.
Una Margrét Árnadóttir (b. 1985) is an artist working across different media. Alongside her own artistic practice, she is one of the founders of the exhibition space Open.
Loop is a screening series where two video works are shown together and played in a continuous loop. Every six weeks, the rhythm shifts and new works take over.
