Gerðarsafn offers customized guides for general groups by appointment. The guided tours are available for large and small groups, including non-profit organizations, groups of friends and employees, and tourists. Guided tours are free of charge for the group during the museum’s opening hours, in addition to the general admission fee to the museum.

Accessibility for the physically challenged is good at the museum, and individuals and groups of people with special needs are catered for.
