In honour of the 61st birthday of Surtsey guests will be invited to try a VR journey to Surtsey in Gerðarsafn. At the same time there will be a art workshop for families with Gunndís Ýr Finnbogadóttir and Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir, the artists of Unstable Ground. Children and families will make their own Surtsey using collage.
