Mornings of Visual Literacy returns on 9th of October!
These events are designed for adults and take place on Friday, October 9th at 10:00 at Gerðarsafn Art Museum, where we will bring out an artwork from the museum’s collection and explore it together. The discussion will be led by Þorgerður Þórhallsdóttir, Collection Project Manager at Gerðarsafn, with active participation from attendees.
The event will be conducted in Icelandic.
Mornings of Visual Literacy is an event series at Gerðarsafn based on the methods of Sjónarafl. Sjónarafl is an powerful educational initiative developed by the National Gallery of Iceland, focusing on visual literacy training for children in connection with the national school curriculum. By using the methods introduced through Sjónarafl, participants gain tools that help them engage with and enjoy visual art.
