Our lives are composed of countless shifts and transitions that may arrive quietly or overwhelmingly. We move through these transitional moments where emotions surface without warning – and something elusive begins to tremble.
In the sixth iteration of the Sculpture Sculpture series, the Performance edition situates artistic practice within these moments of change, when we can’t tell where one thing ends and another begins – where emotions, forms, and meanings drift endlessly. The artists in the exhibition respond to these shifting states with vulnerability, playfulness, joy, and hope – reaching out to one another, to the past, and to softly uttered wishes for the future.
The exhibiting artists are Curro Rodriguez, Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir, Jasa Baka, Kristín Helga Ríkharðsdóttir, Mjólk (Hlín Gylfadóttir, Karlotta Blöndal, Unnar Örn Jónasson Auðarson), Post Performance Blues Band (Álfrún Örnólfsdóttir, Hrefna Lind Lárusdóttir, Saga Kjerúlf), Regn Sólmundur Evu and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson.
