Gerður’s studio is an open learning space where everyone is welcome to explore and create art. School groups, families and other guests have opportunity to sit back, relax and create art. Family workshops are frequently held at Gerður’s studio, in connection with current exhibitions at the museum.
The studio isstocked with paper, pencils, colors etc. Blue building blocks are also a popular part of the creative space. On the weekends we bring even more materials, e.g. clay, light panels and 3D pens.
Access to the Creative Space is included in the entry to the museum. Entry is free of charge for children under 18 years of age.
